And that is a good thing. A Quinnipiac University survey released Wednesday indicates that 58 percent of the public says they would never vote for Sarah Palin. (TheDenverChannel.com) And an equal amount said they wouldn't vote for Donald Trump, either.
Neither have said, formally, that they are running. It would definitely put a damper on their entertainment careers, one would think. This makes the apprentices of the world and the Alaska wildlife very happy.
We might still see too much of them, though. Today on Twitter, Palin tweeted that the photo of a dead bin Laden should be shown "as a warning to others seeking America's destruction." (@SarahPalinUSA) A photo of a dead guy with bullets in his head, perfect.
A reality TV moment.

Terrorists?
It is all over the news today: the "greatest terrorist" in the world was killed last night by U.S. Armed forces. But, there are some out there who don't think that good ol' bin Laden was the only terrorist. Tony Perkins is President of the Washington, D.C.-based Family Research Council. He thinks there are other terrorists lurking around.
He is an expert, though: "back in the 80's and early 90's I worked with the state department in anti-terrorism." And he knows the definition: "it's a strike against the general populace simply to spread fear and intimidation so that they can disrupt and destabilize the system of government." And who does Mr. Perkins think the terrorists are now? The Homosexuals. He says that the Homosexuals are using fear and intimidation so that they can disrupt and destabilize the system, the legal system that is. (GoodAsYou.org)
So, now the Homosexuals are terrorists for wanting equality in things like marriage. Interesting. The reason Donald Trump doesn't support this equality? He is a traditionalist. He equates gay marriage with great golfers who use "unattractive" really long putters to sink three foot putts. (JoeMyGod)
Does the Donald think that those who use long putters are terrorists too?

Just in case you hadn't heard...
President Obama really is a citizen. Today, the president released his long-form birth certificate proving that he is eligible to serve as president. But of course there are some who still want a battle. (HuffingtonPost.com)
The obvious ones of course, Trump: "I want to look at it, but I hope it's true. ... But he should have done it a long time ago."
Palin: "Media: admit it, Trump forced the issue. Now, don't let the WH distract you w/the birth crt from what Bernanke says today."
Romney: "What President Obama should really be releasing is a jobs plan."
And there are some who still think he shouldn't be allowed to be president. WorldNetDaily senior reporter Aaron Klein with researcher Brenda J. Elliott, wrote a book about it - well before the revelation today. He says "It is undisputed that Obama's father was not a U.S. citizen," and therefore is not a "natural born citizen." (WND.com)
However, by definition of the Fourteenth Amendment "making all persons born within the United States and subject to its jurisdiction citizens of the United States," he is now a proven one. (Wikipedia.org)
But then anything Obama does is wrong for some. Damn, can't even get born right.

A Birther, a Sideshow, a Tipper and a Law
No, they didn't walk into a bar, although parts of this could be considered a joke. First, the Birther. That would be Donald Trump who is sending investigators to Hawaii to find that elusive Obama birth certificate. Senior White House adviser David Plouffe thinks that Trump's actions are merely a sideshow and he doesn't think that Trump would be hired by the American people "to do this job." (HuffingtonPost.com)
Now, who better to gain some media spotlight then the tipper? With her approval rating dropping 30% since 2008 and a 10% chance in a hypothetical Republican presidential primary race, Sarah Palin could use any help she can get. She may have finally reached her tipping point. (WashingtonPost.com) So, why not jump on Donald's coat tails - join in on the sideshow - and offer "more power to him" for his "digging in" on the subject. Got her air time, anyway.
But, this all might be a moot point. It seems there is a law in the State of Hawaii that an "original document itself cannot be photocopied by anyone." (Time.com) Now, an authorized copy of the document issued by the state and complete with a raised seal has been made public, but when the Birthers want a Xerox of the damned thing... then he must be Kenyan...
They should walk into a bar...
